A spa day focuses on relaxing the mind and body. Here are some tips to help you through your first spa day.
When you arrive – When you arrive at your spa, a receptionist or a therapist will be there to welcome you. At most Korean spa NYC, you will be offered a consultation with a doctor, who will clarify details of your medical history, past/present injuries or other physical conditions.
Starting your session – Your therapist will offer you a robe and ask you to change your clothes. Most spas will ask you to undress fully or to leave your underwear on. However, the level of undressing is a personal preference, and if you have any questions, it is best to speak to your therapist before you start your session.
During your massage – During your massage, you will be asked to relax, and the therapist will guide you on how you should place your body or move to enjoy the massage.
After the massage – After the massage is complete, your therapist will leave the room, to give you time to get dress. Often at Korean Massage NYC, the therapist will return with a cup of brewed tea that will enhance your therapy.
It is best to arrive at your appointment at least 10 minutes early to give you the chance to relax before your session.
